Well, first of all, what the duck, Eiji.

Again, I’ve erred on the side of making the translations as literal as possible. Boy, Ash sure has it tough….

It definitely adds another nuance to it and better explains Ash’s look of shock – he’s probably like “where on earth did Eiji learn that word?”
Like any person learning another language, he relishes using all the vulgar ones.
So, unfortunately, I’ve stepped out of the house and can’t provide screenshots of the page, but one thing the English translation misses is the nuance of what a superior little shit Ash is being in this scene. In the panels prior, Ash says, “Why don’t you buy yourself some manga? You like that thing called ‘Shounen Monday’, right, oniichan?” Ash loves to emphasise Eiji’s status as the older one to mock his relatively more childish habits or small deficiencies; every time he wants to tease Eiji, the deadly ‘oniichan’ comes out to play. To make matters worse, he pulls out this card again while making his hot dog request: “With lots of sauerkraut and mustard, okay, oniichan.” Which leads us to Eiji telling him to eat dick.
(To be fair, Ash does act like he’s the older in the relationship sometimes: see the part where he chides Eiji for picking up crude language. On the other hand, he knows this grinds Eiji’s teeth and doesn’t hesitate to rub it on his face, which is, well, childish of him.)
Also, I just came to the realisation that teenage Ash would have made a sassy, I’m-cleverer-than-you, but ultimately doting younger brother to Griff and now I am dying inside.
